Last month Always There Automotive was announced as a finalist for the VACC Automotive Industry Excellence Awards. This means we were in the top 20 best mechanical workshops in Victoria, and one of only two in Geelong. This was a huge honour for the Always There Automotive team to be selected out of such great competition.
The VACC awards night was held on Saturday 7th May at the Regent Theater in Melbourne. It was a sold out night with over 500 people in attendance. Although the team did not take out the top place for best mechanical repairer in Victoria it was a huge achievement to be selected for a place in the top 20. The night was a black tie event so our team had to scrub up to meet the occasion which was also hosted by the legendary Shane Jacobson.
The Always There Automotive team were representing Geelong on the night which was full of representatives from mechanical workshops from all over the state. We look forward to the opportunity next year to again enter the VACC Industry Excellence Awards and represent Geelong and our customers and see if we can come out on top!
